My 225g acrylic has a lot of Coraline algae along the front display. I have an xtra large mag-float (for acrylic) and an algae scrapper with a long handle. Both cannot remove this super glued Coraline algae. Is there a better way to remove this stuff??? Literally, it's almost impossible to remove..Any help is appreciated!

it is almost impossible to remove...and when you do, it'll scratch the heck out of the tank. Sounds too late, but I never let mine get bigger than a dime size or it is on for good.....I have the kent marine scraper with short handle for mine...

I agree with Pike. Never let them get that far.

Yep I hated my acrylic tank for that, Im much happier with glass, although nothing as transparent as acrylic but it doesn´t matter since you can never keep acrylic clean.

I have seen people drain the tank down past the coraline and use a vinegar solution to dissolve the coraline . Takes a LONG time but it does work . Good luck with however you decide to tackle that job .
