I purchased 2 Percula Clowns 1 week ago and they both started out with no appetite. After a day the one Clown (both are about 1" long) started eating but the other with the stringy white discharge (like an intestine) is not. I'm going up to the fish store today. What is it? What should I do?
BTW they are both settled into a BTA, I'd hate to remove one. But...

Possibility of intestional parasites, I would definitely keep an eye on it.

THanks do I need to worry about the other fish? They are clinging to a BTA on a small rock so I can easily move them around.
WOuld there be any benefit to dipping, or best to leave it alone? Both Perculas are about 1" long.

If you leave it alone the fish will probably die.
You need to treat for internal parasites in a QT asap.
Treat both clowns. If your other fish ate any of it they most likely will end up with it too.
