I have a fairly large SPS dominated reef and have been using Reefers Best Salt for several years but it sometimes seems to be a pain to get in my location so I am considering a change. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was looking at the salts in the links below and would appreciate any feedback about personal experience with them.

One of my LFS down near Atlanta just started getting in Salinity. Seachem just released it. This stuff is suppose to be top notch. What I like is that they post what the lab results are right on the label.

The stuff is expensive. $70 per bucket right compared to Seachem Reef which I last paid $40. But they say you'll get 220 gallons at 1.025 SG where as the rest of the salt manufacturers use something like 1.020 or 1.021 to get 160 gallons. So that should work out.

I'm about to make my first batch tonight. I've got probably another hour or so to fill up storage tank and then I'll start to add salt to it. Oh and the buckets are figgin heavy!! Something like 65 pounds!!

I'll post tomorrow what the label states vs my readings. Should be interesting.
