Starting from last night when lights were off my clam was closed for some reason. My shrimp and dwarf eel were hovering around it. So I said naybe something died by it my new sixline I got got trapped in it but unlikely. So lights when on today everything was fine sixline was there and my clam was opening up. I leave the room and come back and my eel has his head shoved in the bottom of the clam eating it. Any reason for this? Maybe the clam was dieing, or maybe the eel was just hungry. I don't see how the clam would be dieing when all params are stable and it has light and food.

i wouldnt think most eels would be reef safe. id rather it be a clam being eaten by the expensive dwarf eel than the clam killing the dwarf (unless it was a black and white maxima)
