I was wondering if this should go to the photography forum, but its not type specific, its a general question...in general
When I take my pictures I change my white balance to "flourescent" but the pics still turn out with the sand so bright that it ruins the whole picture. I've tried auto setting but its the same. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on WB settings?
Thanks a bunch

Are you using a point-and-shoot or DSLR? This will give us a better idea of the possible methods of control.
And yes, this question would be much better off in the photography forum. The people in that forum can definitely help you out.
I solved all of my color problems with my Canon SD780 IS point and shoot by making a custom white balance setting. I did it by sinking a piece of pvc in the tank, zooming in to it, and setting the white balance.
