What is this???

Anyone recognize this? It came in on the live rock, and started as a small polyp, but has grown to this gnarly green pretzel-shape in about 2 months...

It's sponge-like in texture.....anyone?

Possibly a sponge, or possibly a a weird macroalgae either way it is pretty cool!

yeah, kinda looked like the green calcium-based macro, but never seen one grow in that shape/design before.
