John guest fittings

I tried to search around but am wondering if it is just the luck of the draw. My inline john guest fittings are very difficult to turn. Anyone else use them and are they just as difficult? Is there anything to do to them or just go get another and try before you buy??

JG fittings difficult to turn? Do you mean JG valves? The ones on my RODI are pretty stubborn but thankfully they are rarely used. US Plastics has a wide selection of better valves with JG in/out.
