Not a club, but if you have any questions, I've been running mine for a few years.

Can I see a pic? Just curious where the water comes out the skimmer why is that sponge there for? Is it just to make the water splash not so loud? Can I run it without it?

I run a gate mod on mine, but yes, the sponge is to keep noise down. You can run without it if you can handle the noise, in fact it would be less work to run without it. If you use the sponge, clean it at the very least once a week.I'll look back at my pics and see if I can find one to show you.

Here's a pic of mine running without the sponge. You can see where the water comes out.

This is the gate mod. It quiets the overflow and the gate valve makes it easier to adjust the skimmer.

Also if you still have the piece of crap, leaking, original uniseals that came with your skimmer, replace them with these:

They don't leak and provide a better hold on the outlet from the pump. You can get a couple and use them for the recirculating mod if you want.

You can also see the gate mod kit on this page.
