Johnson vs Ranco Temp Controller?

Just curious on whats the pros and cons on these 2 controllers, from someone that has used both, or either of them

I have never used Johnson but Ranco controller is rock solid. I would recommend getting the dual stage, which will let you control heater and chiller/fans.

+1 for the Ranco dual stage, solid unit. Never used the other.

Same here. Used the ranco with no problems and never used the Johnson.

I have the Ranco duel stage controller. It work's great. I use it to control my heaters & fans for cooling. I cost about $130, Why not just get the Digital Aquatics Reef keeper lite for $99. It will control 4 outlets (heater, fans & lights) for less. Bought one 3 weeks ago, now I have 3:dance:
