how to cut plexi

I need to cut the height of my sump from 18 inches to 14 inches. It is 1/4 inch thick and the length is 3 feet. What tool would I need to make a straight cut? Thank you.

Table saw all the way. I've done it to many times to count. A find tooth blade makes things a little smoother.

Table saw with the right blade is the preferred method. However, I have used a router as well.

Cut on a table saw with a fine tooth blade about a 1/4 inch bigger then you need then route the material down to its final size with a strait edge using a 3 or 4 flute router bit
