I am in the process of re-fitting our lighting system (in-wall) and am attempting to purchase reflective material for the new MH/T-5 lighting combination. I have identified the best reflective material (98% reflectivity) that I want to use (Anomet MIRO stucco 9).
Here is my dilemma:
While the price for one sheet (.012 X 48" X 24") of Anolux MIRO Stucco 9 is $
41.00 ea. Anomet's "negotiated ground rates" with overnight delivery
across the USA via Federal Express, (for shipping up to 5 sheets in one package) is $ 122.00. Anomet won't ship it anyother way because of potential for damage and previous problems.
Therefore, it is hard for me and my son to justify spending $122 to ship a single 41$ reflector part (=$163 for the reflector alone!). That said, if there were enough local people interested in purchasing and splitting out the total cost, we could get some really nice reflectors for our home build fixtures at a reasonable cost.
If not, I'll keep looking for a retailer somewhere.
Let me know if anyone is interested
