Online Parts Store Coming Soon!!

EcoTech Marine announced today that we will be opening an online service parts store where customers can purchase parts at http://www.ecotechmarine.com/parts-store. The service store is scheduled to launch by February 19, 2010. As some of you may know, we previously took orders for replacement and consumable parts only through our 800 number.

The parts store will offer customers the most commonly ordered parts 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Additional replacement parts will be added to the store over time and the store will provide service to domestic customers only.

Note that our pumps are still available only through the company's retail network. Pumps will not be sold through the parts store.

In our quest to constantly improve the customer experience, launching an online parts store was a natural step. VorTech owners now have the option of going online and ordering anytime and from anywhere in the United States.

I've already sent three emails to the customer service asking about the possibility for me to buy some parts for one of my three MP40w. But no answer whatsoever...
I bought them less then 3 months ago, but I live in Brazil and would cost me more to ship one of the pumps for replacement, therefore I would prefer to just buy the parts and the shipping costs to send them down here.
Is that going to be possible with the Online Parts Store? I mean, not only ship it abroad but also accept my international credit card?

I recommend you contact one of your Brazilian distributors (http://www.aquariumbr.com.br/ or http://www.ondaaquarios.com.br/) first to see if they have the parts you need. If this fails, let us know and we can help you, but we will charge the cost of shipping. This will not be able to go through our parts store and will have to be handled personally.

Are we going to be able to purchase the Version 2 upgrade?

We are discontinuing the Gen2 magnet upgrade kit. You will now have to purchase the parts individually. By now nearly everyone should have the Gen2 magnets.

Some parts won't be available at the time of launch but over time we'll strive to get everything that customers demand up on the store.

Not at the time of launch, no. You can either call it in or wait a few weeks until the parts store is populated further.

I just ordered a new power supply from one b/c mine fried the other night.

Ran into a minor snag sync'ing everything with our ERP system, the store is loaded, we just have to press the 'go-live' button once we've wrapped up the internal stuff. I'll update today again shortly.

To answer one of the poster's questions, yes, we'll have MP10 wet sides available through the store.
