Question about plumbing.

Does anyone use poly pipe and fittings? Is there any reason I shouldn't? I would like to use it for the water return to my tank. It's already black, super easy to work with, and cheap.

I would verify the toxic contents. I myself have not used it so not sure of the effects on your tank habitents.

what "toxic contents"?? most poly pipe I've seen is drinking water safe...........
