Well, someone has to post their "Newb" tank, so here goes. Started this in November. This is in my high school classroom. Notice the Sump/fuge is above the main tank... I like it this way, it lets me explain it more to my students, the skimmer is a source of fascination for a lot of students who love watching it oooze...

What is the blue thing in the center there? is that a blue montipora?
can you tell us where you got it? I love the coloring

I also like the green thing on the right of rockpiles tank. Im kinda new to alot of corals, is that a flowerpot?

And somebody on the first page had a really nice looking something that kind of resembled a starfish with funky arms.

Here is my 210 work in progress. 400W in the center I have another I bought used and I have new socket ends coming this week so it will be up this weekend. on the left is a 96W t5 that will be replaced asap with another 400.
