I'm trying to load a picture so hopefully this works. The item I need Id'd is right in the center of the photo. The red piece of what I think is a type of algae. Don't mind the GHA I'm working on that problem and it seems to be going away but it is a slow and painful process. I think i have seen a picture of this some where else online and if I see it i will copy the link here. Thanks for the help.

My first pic is from my cell phone...I left my camera at work or I would attempt to get a better one. Thanks for the attempt and I will see if I can find some info about it. The strange thing about what has been happening in my tank is that I have been fighting cyano and GHA for about 2 months now and I have had this algae pop up, some yellow zoos, and some mushrooms start growing. I had no idea any of this was on my rock before the cyano bloomed. Also, the pieces of coral that I did know about have grown nicely since the cyano has start to subside. I don't know if this is normal but I thought it was odd that during a very high nutrient time that these corals were flourishing.

Try to get a more clear pic for us, but yea it is some kind of red macro, nothing to worry about.

Nice macro .I had some it does well for a while then lets go of the rock every once in a while it pops up again.
Some corals actually do very well in water with high nutrients.

I don't think that's Gracilaria, but I agree that it's a macroalgae of some sort.
