I am trying to get ideas for my 90 build and I really like the looks of black stands. Everything will be black, rim of the tank, back wall, hood, and stand. This with the white sand will give it a "clean look" which is what I am going for...Thanks a bunch!

Not black but dark stain

Chocolate over Cherry Stain on cabinet grade poplar wood.

Built by a local guy. 3/4" cabinet grade solid oak. Stained black and a low gloss finish.

Indymann that's the nicest basement I've ever seen. Wish we had basements in CA

Thats what I'm talking about! I like the low profile hood, I'm not keen on the canopy being as tall or even taller than the stand...Just my personal preference.

Thanks! Keep em' comin" ! :)

Cham, very clean! I thought about going without a hood and hanging my lights, but I am adding 2 more bulbs "retro-fit" so I need to hide it.

This is an older pic, and the room as changed since it was taken, but here is a picture of my 58 with a black stand -- was part of my "black" wall. ;)
