Velvet? Fukes? or just missing scales? Pics inside

Hey all,

Let me start with soem general info. I added the pair of flame wrasses to the FO tank a few weeks ago. Come to find out, I ended up with the smaller one being a small, just changing male rather than a female, and of course a large male. I will say I have not seen any issues between them, the pretty much ignore each other.

Both were added about 3 weeks ago to a FO tank.

As you can see in the pics, the wrasse has some strange markings on his body. The small one showed very similiar markings pretty soon after inroducing them. They are now gone. The markings have just in the past 4 days starting showing on this male.

I dont think velvet because it didnt kill the other one, it does not develop quickly, and there is and has been copper in the tank since they went in.

So, flukes perhaps? Missing scales?

Here are a lot of pics so maybe you can see something. Note along the dorsal area/spine and body in that area.
