I am changing the focus of my tank and have several large colonies of Blue Clove (snowflake) Polyps on several rocks in my tank. A local reefer has asked to purchase some and wants to know a price. Can anyone give me an idea of a fair price for these?

You could certainly give them away, or charge him something cheap like 5-10 bucks or see if he has a frag of something in return.

yeah usually 5-10 for a silver dollar size frag is a fair price for all. it's really all about how much you want to get rid of. if you want to sell a huge piece it will probably be a little more expensive but not too much, say a softball size seems to go for around 20-40 and anything bigger than that can be negotiated. hard corals get a lot more expensive as they grow but the softies are pretty cheap.

They grow like weed taking over the entire tank.

just like GSP, which people sell all the time but mostly you can give it to the LFS for a credit.

I have only seen them once and a guy was trying to charge $25 for a silver dollar size at our most recent frag swap. By the end he came down to $20, but it never sold. I would say $5-10 would have been a fair price.

I've seen it go pretty cheap, $15 a rock or so but usually people are trading rocks covered in it for rocks that are not due to it's fast growth.
