After a few months of keeping my params in check i would like to try keeping some sps again. I had a hydrometer before that read totally wrong and my levels where way off-my acros where dying as the sg was so high not to mention calc and mg. After i got a refractometer i've sorted the problem and everythings been stable for a while.
The thing that worries me is that at the opposite end to the tank that i want my sps(different island area-its a peninsular),i have two large toadstool leathers. Does the mucas shed from these poison sps?
Should i get rid of one or both?

Thanks:D

You can keep both, but over time as the leathers grow their allelopathic capacity will increase. Though not lethal to SPS (unless you took a whole leather to a blender or something), you may observe the inhibition of growth. So long as you keep up the water changes and run carbon once in a while I see no problem.
