I agree with Dendronephthya on #1, but think #2 is a devils hand (Lobophytum).
Dendronephthya's need to be feed (they don't generally do well in captivity). I picked up a Stereonephthya at a frag swap in January that has reportedly been growing well for the lady I got it from. Phytoplankton, oyster eggs/feast, etc. are decent choices for food. Problem is that non symbiotic corals generally need copious amounts of food throughout the day to thrive... The Stereonephthya seems to be doing pretty well and is a deep purple (nicest colored softie I have, I think).

I was thinking carnation or possibly a kenya for the first. If it is a carnation coral they are difficult to keep and will need to be fed they are non-photosynthetic. If it is a kenya it is a great beginner coral. I am leaning more to the carnation! can you get a closer pic?
Devil's hand on the second pic!

The second one looks kind of like a thick finger leather, aka sinularia species.
