Snuck up on my 2 clownfish today. While they've been spawning consistently for the last 4 months or so, i have yet to catch them in the act.....until this evening. Since this was my 1st time ever seeing something like this i figured i'd catch it on video. Notice the female deposit the eggs, while the male fertilizes them. At first i thought the male was just fanning the eggs until i saw that "thing" sticking out of his bottom. They usually take turns...but sometimes go at it simultaneously. I do wonder though why they mouth the eggs every once in a while. The whole ordeal lasted about 25 minutes. Anyways, here it is.
