Fish and corals both seem to really enjoy the original blend, although for some reason my zoanthids are closing up whenever I start the feeding, I'm wondering if this is just because the water gets pretty murky or if there is some other reason, Just wanting your input.
Also I was thinking about mixing in my little thawing cup some PE frozen mysis for an extra boost in nutrition, what do you guys think?

I love Rod's food, well for my fish of course, lol. They seem to go nuts for it, I have been feeding the Herbivore blend. I do add some PE Mysis every once in a while too. But really just because I have it. I think the Rod's is nutritous enough. I have never noticed any corals close up from feeding it. Actually more than usually PE usually what happens.

Yeah, Rods food seems to be a favorite of my fish and shrimp too!!
My zoanthids sometimes close up when I feed too. I just attribute it to the cleaner shrimp running them over to get to the floating pieces.

My wife is in charge of feeding all the tanks and she loves using the Rod's mixes. I think she always has a pack of each in the freezer. But she also mixes in a little bit of everything else when she feeds - a LOT of variety. Mysis, Cyclolpeeze, and soon I hope to have live brine shrimp.

i googled zoanthid feeding response and came up with the above article, among many others which indicates that a feeding response in zoanthids is curling in on itself as food particles are transferred via tentacles to the mouth. closing up seems to be a simple feeding response.

Other than target feeding and some phyto, Rod's is the only thing I feed my tanks. Been doing this for two years now. I use his regular and coral blends.

just so long as they're opening back up within a reasonable period of time and otherwise thriving, i'd think you're okay.

I use Rod's food, everyone seems to enjoys feeding time. Are there different blends? I have only seen the red colored type.

There is a few different blends, regular, herbivore, coral, predator, That I can think of. There is like 5 or 6 maybe.
