i am planning on upgrading my tank from a 120 to a 150 (i know not much of an upgrade, but much better dimensions). i am kind of sick of the way my tank looks. it has been set up like this for quite some time, and i feel it just has too much rock. i am not sure if it is too much rock or just too much "clutter." i would like some opinions about what looks a little "too much" in it, wether it is too many individual colonies, too much rock, ect, ect. i really do like the appeal of the less aquascape look. if you have one of these tanks could you please post some pictures to help me get some ideas about what to do with the new tank. this will be the first time that i am actually going to be planning the rock work in the tank, and not just stacking the rocks until i find a combo that stands up on its own. any help would be appreciated. thanks
also i upgraded my halides from 250s to 400s(stupid idea) so it really does not look that great as the corals are still recovering and some are just plain getting burned

less is more some times, i used to really like the systems with lots of rock, however i noticed that they seem to get over crowded, leaving not much room for corals, fish, etc.

well with the amount you have i would say re-aquascaping could save you the money of upgrading, some times its the way you position your rock
heres a pic of my 125

not a great pic but gives you an idea of the rock work

looks great, i am doing the upgrade to a deeper tank so my corals wont cook so much. well i guess the real reason for doing the upgrade is because my center is broken and has been for about four or five years now. i feel that now, for some strange reason, it has just been too long with a center brace that has been broken. the only reason that i have left it this long is because the gap is only 1/4 inch and has not gotten any bigger since. i also thought about just rescaping and fixing the brace, but than thought about the amount of detritus i would stir. then my rational thought took over and said why not just get a new tank!
