Any recommendations on removing 200 lbs of sand from my 300 gallon tank. I know I can syphon it out... Just looking for any other tips. I will either go bare bottom or go with a bigger particle size.

I dont know from experience, but I would assume maintaining a clean 300 gallon barebottom may prove to be quite the task. It might take a long time to clean it out all the time, but again I dont know from experience that is just what my assumption would be.
Maybe someone else can tell you from experience.
What's the issue that makes you want to remove it?
If it's blowing around just add the larger particle size over the current sand.

Siphoning a little bit with each water change is the way to do it, unless you are willing to drain and scoop.
