--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so far I have this in the tank

cane candy coral
2 bubble tip
3 clown fish
1 foxface lo
1 coral beauty
1 sixline wrasse

what would you add next and what fish would go with what I already have here is what I was thinking about adding after much reading tonight

clown goby
longnose butterfl fish
sea goldie
lori's anthias

The clown goby is generally fine, although they often chew on SPS corals to make a nest. The butterfly fish also eats corals, given a chance, although some species might be safer than some. There's a number of fish that get called "longnose", in practice, sigh.

The sea goldie and that Anthias are reasonable to try.

I might let the tank and fish mature for a while before adding any more, depending on how the system is set up and how long it's been running.

yellow tang, coral beauty and the clown were the first fish bought
then
pacific blue tang
cream angel
sailfin tang
powder blue tang
(2 damsels that got in by mistake)
anthias
foxface
hawk fish was the last

In hindsight the yellow tang should have been last---always gave each of the other tangs a hard time for a day or so.

I should add that I have two refugiums--one a remote sand bed with live rock the other with cheato macro algae. Also a 60 gal sump with a MSX200 skimmer. I am running carbon and phosban.
This is what handles that big of a bioload.
