At work today, I found a Red Feather Star (Unsure of exact species, but definitely a Crinoid) as a hitch hiker on a coral. My question is how well will he do in a 90 gallon mixed reef? Remember, I didn't buy him (I know they have a generally poor track record) I'm just going to try to do my best to save him. Any pointers would be beneficial since I would like to try to keep him around as long as possible. Thanks!

Well you're definitely right in that they have a horrible survival record in captivity. All I can say is that if you want to give it the best chance, then give it plenty of food for filter-feeding invertebrates, and make sure you don't have anything that would pick on it.

Might I ask what your current stocking list consists of?

You might try asking over on the nonphotosynthetic forum, I know at least one person on there has had some amount of success keeping them.
