In light of my illegal activity on the board I wanted to take a minute to apologize for my actions. I was not aware that you could not post a FS/FT thread until you had reached 50 meaningful posts and or had been on the board for 90 days.
I have lurked around the board for a few months now. I keep a watchful eye on the local going-on's in terms of selling or trading corals, etc. I am almost like a raccoon that forages for food at night, but instead of going into your garbage, I go online and look at threads on the board. Think of me like a gopher that digs through information on cyberspace but stores pertinent info in his cheeks much like a hamster does with lettuce.
What I'm trying to say is I am apologetic for my recent post actions and I hope the other members of Reef Central will not look down upon me for selfishly promoting a sale without first contributing to the community here.
Attached is a pic of my 55g noob reef and a cat on an invisible bicycle.
Am I still going to heaven?

Thank you, my tank has been running for about 4-5 months. It pales in comparison to some of the reef monsters I've seen but I love it.
Hope I don't get flamed for having the Hippo in there, I promise to upgrade or I may re-locate him when he gets larger.
Here's the breakdown of my tank:
Fish:
2 Ocellaris Clowns
2 Banggai Cardinals
1 Blue Hippo Tang
1 Flame Angel
1 Royal Gramma
Inverts:
18 Blue-legged Hermits
18 Tropheus Snails
10 Astrea Snails
10 Nassarius Snails
1 Cleaner Shrimp
Equipment:
70lbs Fiji Live Rock
60lbs Aragonite sand
1 AquaC Remora Skimmer
1 Phosban 150 Reactor (currently running 280ml of Seachem SeaGel)
2 Hydor Koralia #2 Pumps
1 300w Stealth Heater
1 Coralife Lunar Aqualight (260w)
Corals:
Frogspawn Coral
Sinularia Leather Coral
Multii-colored Mushrooms
Assorted Zoas
Hairy Mushrooms
Pom Pom Coral
Bubble Coral
Goniopora Coral
Hammer Coral
Xenia Coral
Cabbage Leather Coral
Green Star Polyps
It looks like your Bangaii is holding eggs in its mouth in the last picture.
Tank looks very good, especially for only 4-5 months.

Thanks Keith, I love coming home to it (don't tell my gf :)). Yes, my Bangaii has been holding twice already but swallowed/spit teh fry both times. I wish I had another tank to move him to, poor guy goes through all that work for nothing.

I, too, was going to express how horrified and distraught I was at your pre-mature selling/trading post, but he beat me to it. :spin1:

Great tank dude! Just keep posting and you will hit the requirements in no time at all. It's always easy to ask a question or comment on something you see. You could rack up 50 in a week if you really wanted. Go to the posts that have pictures and say something nice or ask a question about something you see.
Welcome to RC also if you haven't done so already maybe look at the CTARS page and get signed up. Come to some meetings. You have to come to Frag Farmers next month and CMAC. If you love saltwater your need to go. Gonna be lots of great stuff to see at those two places. I can't wait.
Where in CT are you?

Sue & Dlandino: I beg you for mercy, puhlease forgiveth me!
halycon: thx, I love my cardinals, so glad they are a mated pair now
love the tank...nice pics too ! Welcome to the forum. I highly recommend joining the club. Even if you can't make it to many meetings...(I certainly don't)...it's a great group of generous folks who are always willing to help out. Do get to the frag event in March if you can. It's worth the trip if you can make it !
