Filtration for a 2.5?

just a quick question for all of you: what kind of filtration would you recommend for a 2.5 AGA? might be starting a low budget tank just to get back into the hobby.

maybe you could say i shouldnt waste my time with that size and just start a 10 gallon? anything info would help.

I used an Aqua Clear 70 on my 2.5. I modded it into a fuge. Check the DIY build thread sticky at the top of this forum.

picos are fun :)

size is not everything :p

but the aqua clear 70 seems to be the filter of choice for most picos.

you could do and AIO ...i have done that and it is pretty neat and works great

I've got a mini-bow 2.5 and while it's a great size, definitely go with a HOB to free up more space in-tank for corals. And don't go over board on LR, I did go a little over board and now I want more space....
