I have noticed some colonies of tiny little round white bugs that have two antena on branching hammer skeleton, and today on another rock. Mostly just sitting and waving the little antena. Does anyone know what they are and if harmful?:eek2:

I don't think so, these bugs seem to stay still more in loose groups with their antenae much longer than their body waving in the current. I've seen them in a couple of places. Any clues?

pictures?
Your description sounds copepodesque, but the longer antenae are generally indicitive of calanoid pods vice the normally seen harpacticoids.
A picture would help

Thanks Chad, I won't be able to focus a bug that small but I will search for pictures of the ones you mentioned. Robert
