I bought some red mushroom on a rock from the lfs. It came with these brown polyps and i have no clue what they r. Could someone tell what ive got and how to care for it?

Could be yellow polythoas polyps that have been deprived of adequate lighting.

when i touch them with something they close up if that helps at all. its basicly a stem with a little ball of fur on the end and a black dot in the center.

no i dont think thats it these have a really small stem. thay almost look like a star polyp only they r about 1 cm big and they have about 20 - 30 small hairs on the top. it looks like they r branching i really dont know how else to descibe them.

hydroids should not be a problem. I mean they ARE problematic, However, they cannot really survive for long in our tanks. Hydroids are basically jellyfish. There are 3 stages. 1, egg, 2, "stalk" version that you have, then free-floating jellyfish. Usually once they hit the jellyfish stage they all die and cannot reproduce.
That last photo looks like brown, green star polyps. Don't know if there is a brown star polyp. If it is a star polyp, then they may be a nuissance, and can grow very quickly.
