View Full Version : Why does my carpet act like a jellyfish?

I am about ready to give up on my haddoni: Won't attach; swells with water and just hangs over a depression that I dug in the gravel. I now know that I made a mistake buying it without seeing it eat. These animals are supposed to be solid and flat with a closed mouth. Mine is a jellyfish, ballooned up with no inclination of attaching. I feel it is in a slow decline death spiral and I don't want it to die in my tank, especially while I am away. Better to take it back to the store and get 1/2 back for it. My pics are in previous posts. What would you advise?

Take it back before it nukes the tank. :)

When u placed it in the tank did u let it settle in w/o any powerheads blowing around, did u see it eat prior to purchase, was the the mouth closed and was it really sticky?
