Feather dusters placed on LR

Hi.
I just got two feather dusters 30 min ago. Should I place them in the sandbed or will they attach to the LR? (They were in the sandbed on the LFS)

they should attach by themselves. You can help them by gently wedging them between rocks if you want

Yeah, I've read that placing them between rocks work. My plan was to do that close to the sandbed, and I just placed them were they are now while I was preparing some rocks for them. However, I kinda liked this position but I fear that they will fall down if my snails start moving around them.
