Apparently the largest front pannel tank in the world strated leaking water from a joint in between the pannels. Luckily it was caught on time and apparently soved. mixed reviews if it's a rubber joint between the acrylic pannels that failed or if it's a crack in the acrylic.

wow!...wonder if that tank has a warranty on it ;) glad they were able to get it fixed up right away and it didn't escalate into something disastrous

The report said it was a quick fix but considering that the area is still closed is a bit weird. Its a shame that the tank is less than a year old.

Must be a glasscages tank. :D

they may still have it closed to monitor it without pedestrians nearby to get wet/harmed

My dad had an "emergency" today when he had 1 gallon overflow. I guess it's all relative, eh?

Exactly I was always complaining about a 15-20 Gallon leak from my tank due to a loose part of the plumbing...

That's hilarious! Holy crap that would be crazy, I thought just doing minor plumbing fixes on my 120 was a pain in the butt. Can you imagine pulling all nighters trying to fix that beast! It could not have been any "quick fix"
