chalice questions?

I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me how they frag their chalice. I would like to get some more high end ones but I was wondering how hard it is to frag, and how to frag, also how long it would take a 1"x1" frag to get to about 5"x5" colony on average. Thanks for looking.

Some people frag them simply by breaking them off and glueing them to a plug, some use a sort of wet saw to get a better cut. As for the growth it all comes down to your water params, lighting, etc some chalice will grow quicker than others.
