At last! Ever since i left Holland for good (and my two megs :( behind ) i considered to start another magnifica setup... When I failed to get red and blue carpet, finally decided to reach out for one. Unfortunately over here is not as simple as walking to lfs and choosing an healthy one, but i got lucky. Its two weeks by me and doing good for now. Mag is some 5 months in neighborhood, walked around in tank to much so they decided to get rid of it. Luckily they didnt manage to bleach it or to spook it towards the powerhead/overflow :D

thx, :) It is bit injured on the other side of the column, nothing big. Luckily it detached from the lr when they were packing it so its foot is in great shape, no wounds what so ever. lost its stickiness in transport, slowly starts to fire again. Cant feed it hard foods jet but capturing mysis already. (2. pic)

my green carpet clone. It freaked me out.. It was impossible to separate them without causing some damage so I let em be.. Thought they'll introduce and move away from each other when pain starts to kick in. They were touching for bloody 5 days long before carpet decided to move on. Interesting, i expected some serious damage, but there was none what so ever. Ok, magnifica lost its stickiness due to shipping stress but haddoni is healthy as a horse.. After some reading up i learned from Tods experience that haddons carpets lose battles with crispas, ritteris and ltas, but this one luckily wasn't ready to fire.
