Depends on the color & it's value to you.

Is that under regular 10K lighting? As long as it is naturally yellowish purple and not dyed.

yea it is under 3 halides in the store. would it be obvious if it was dyed? im trying to recall the color it might be more of a white orange. also if i put it in my biocube 14 with the stock lighting would that be alright? i have kept non photos like sun corals but never something this rare.
thanks

If it is white orange, then that is most likely not dyed. If you are looking to spend around $350 I believe Austin (stunreefer) has a few nice ones for sale.
The coral is pretty tough and hardier than sun corals.

Look to at where the flesh of the polyp meets the skeleton. A healthy, well maintained Rhizo should not show visible, exposed skeleton.

As Mike said, no exposed skeleton is crucial, and knowing they're eating is a plus.
All mine have been with me for quite a while, and they eat like no tomorrow... I noticed you found my thread ;)
