I finally have decided to try out the Aquavitro Salt, I have always been told to mix the new salt brand with the old one. 25/75 50/50 75/25 percentages within 3 water changes. Afterwards you can use the new salt all by its self. My question: Is it possible to do a 1 percent water change everyday, with the new salt and not use any of the old brand salt. Maybe for roughly 10-15 percent of the water has been replaced. So maybe 10 to 15 days, of 1 percent water changes. Will the gradual change of the salt affect the fish and corals in a negative way. Is mixing the 2 salt brands together still the better way to go. Thanks.

Unless you are doing a very large water change, I would not be concerned at all with switching salt brands, assuming your major parameters(alk, salinity, calc, mag) are reasonably similar. I would just do your typicla water changes.
