Building overflow

Looking to build a wier overflow...

Where does everyone buy their plastic from to build these?

Im looking at using 1/4" plastic for this...is this the right thickness?

1/4" would work but any more than that would be overkill.
Personally i use 1/8" for mine and it works just fine
