Well it appears I might have a deal thrown my way...

Now I am trying to decide if I should take it...

The deal is for this canopy.
TEK LIGHT T-5, 36" Light Fixture 6 x 39W lamps by Sunlight

Is this too bright for a 33 gallon? It is 36"Lx 12"W x18" deep

If yes, I could just run it with 4 or even 2 bulbs correct?

Would this be noticeably better than a 2 96W Powercompact fixture? (192W with 2 LED moonlights)

I plan to focus mainly on soft corals and LPS for now... but eventually want to get into some SPS too...

Opinions?

i had a nova extreme pro 6 lights not the best fixture i did bleach some corals running all six.i would change bulbs out to ati bulbs get from reefgeek.could never get the right look with t-5 either to white or 2 blue.went back to halides corals growing like weeds.with a 30 gallon could put 150w de light over it heat wouldnt be a problem.
