I have a pair of Ocellaris clowns in an 80 gal tank and was thinking about adding another clown. Would adding another Ocellaris or a Percula be a problem? Do the 2 species get along?

Hit and miss. Since you have a large tank your chances are improved, but if they fight and you have to remove the new clown, you have to remove it from a 80 gal. I would try a hang on breeder box and see how they react. Do you have any anemones in the tank?

IMO, it won't work. It may work for the short term, but in the long run the pair will most likely kill the new clown.

Thanks to all for your rapid responses. Sounds like it might be best to wait a bit. I bought a BTA a couple of weeks ago to date the clowns have ignored it. I thought if I added a loner it would be more likely to host the anemone.
