Brittle star eating snails?

I just recieved 10 nassarius snails and 40 dwarf cerith snails from reefcleaners.com. After acclimating them and releasing them into the tank they started waking up and then i noticed my fancy brittle come out and start trying to drag them under the rock will he eat them should i be worried?

What color is he? Some brittles are nicer than others. I hope it's not green.

And if he pulled him in, he's probably toast.

I have 2 brown ones and they leave the snails alone. If yours is grabbing them, he will probably eat all your snail eventually. If you want to keep snails, you might have to remove your brittle star or keep suppling him with snails.

Keep him well fed and maybe if your lucky he will leave the snails alone
