It should be fine in that tank for a few month. You don't need to rush and transfer him into the other tank yet.

This is where I buy most of my stuff. Their prices beats almost every other fish store I've been to. If you ask for their online prices they will usually honor it.

i dont think you can beat the prices there. both livestock and dry goods are on average lower than any other local store. I live right down the street and stop by just about every week.

No Jimmy. My tank is getting worst and worst. I pulled the plug and mix my own. Right now I use IO and Coralife which are 440, 9, 1300. Tank is on the back. I just need to decide btw t5 or MH.

Hows your tank after the mini bleach episode? Is everything getting better after the light bulb issue?

Im also thinking of going with a kalkwasser instead of calcium reactor like you.. What do you think? You have to teach me how to work it tho.

tanu,
kalk is good. but eventually when your tank matures and the ca and alk demand is higher you will also have to have a ca reactor or dose 2 part to help it. i am doing 2 part and the kalk is to help me fight low ph. when you do use kalk you have to watch for alk spike. depending on how you use the reactor. if you use it as top off in the summer gets crazy cause of evap. if you set it on timer so slow drip at night its a trial and error thing for me. another good thing about kalk is it help polish the water too.
the tank doing better now. the whole center was bleached out. as you can see the center is whiter then the rest of the tank. coraline alge even got bleached

Sanh, hmmm... It sounds like a ca reactor would be easier. I need to do my homework on kalk reactors. Good to see your tank getting better

I've seen it in person. It's hella nice. The pic doesn't show all the corals inbetween. Sanhs tank was actually my motivator. That's why I got a similar size.
