This little anemone was on some live rock I got when I set up my 60gal. This will be my anemone/clown tank and I would like to make sure it is not a trouble maker.
It is about 1 1/4" in diameter, the center is more green than the picture shows.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I think I found it. Is it a "Rock Anemone", Epicystis sp.

Can anyone confirm?

No, it's not E. crucifer, a rock anemone. I'm not sure what species it is though.

I now have my carpet in the tank with this little hitchhiker. Does anyone think I will have any problem with alleopathy?
Should I remove it? I think will will have to kill it to remove it.

Agree its not E.crucifer, but need a better pic and no it should not be a chem warfare issue. If the carpet touches the hitch hiker though it might be bad news for teh little guy.
