Is there such a thing or how can you modify popular powerheads to prevent anemone from getting blended.

Koralia seems to be safe?

I thought the same about the koralias until my bta got shredded. I think you can buy a sponge cover for those.

I had the same question before, and ended up with two answers.

1. Moving them higher in the tank.

2. Making something out of plastic bottles and rubber bands to cover of the bottom intake of whatever powerhead you buy.

Hope that helps?

Hi,

I think the protective foams for the vortechs are a very good for avoiding this situations...:reading:

no such thing, you must cover power heads if a nem is wandering.

i always like using panty hose. Trim it to fit and then just use AllGlass Aquarium glue to secure it. Then you can poke a small hole in it to allow more water to be sucked in.

My experience/solution. Worked well, but the anemone didn't make it after the damage was done. Gonna try again. I thought the large surface area of the Koralia's would make it safer, not the case.

I just had an anemone go into a koralia, I had to put a mesh around it
