How many holes can one diamond coated hole saw cut?

Thanks!

lots generally, but it depends on how thick the glass is, the quality of the hole saw, if you keep it cool.

generally if you can still see/feel the diamonds it will still cut

Depends on how thick the glass is you are drilling through, how big the holes are, and how high of quality the bit is. For the cheap hole saws most of us use, and assuming 3/8" glass, id say you can probably get 5 or 6 or so out of a 1 3/4" hole saw. I know after drilling three holes with mine in 3/8" glass the last hole was a lot slower going than the first. Even so, im sure I could still drill another hole or two without any problems. I dont think I could get 6 holes out of my 3" hole saw, though. I would imagine the high quality bits can crank out a lot more holes. But some of them are hundreds of dollars, too.

Hopefully enough to justify the cost! They're not cheap.
