View Full Version : Plumbing returns with a corner overflow in a Rimless Tank Ideas?

I am going to have a custom rimless built dimensions 36x22x18, and I have been debating on overflow design and placement.

I have been leaning toward a corner overflow so I dont have any issues with a large center overflow, but then what would be the best way to plumb the returns.

I would like to have the drain and return in the overflow, as to keep a clean look in the tank, and didnt want any plumbing coming out the back of the tank.

How have some of you plumb your returns with the corner overflow? Over the top? One return? A cutout in the overflow for one return or branch one return out the front and side?

Any suggestions, or would a center overflow be better.

Thanks.
