What happened if you don't rinse GFO?

I changed GFO yesterday and i didn't rinse it. Can it harm my tank?

Never rinse mine.....

I only use a little. 3/4 of a cupish. I mix it with my carbon and then just run my reactor to the drain till the water runs clear.

umm... you are rinsing it.

Not pre rinsing. I know people that spend a lot of time actually rinsing theirs in a sink.

I don't "pre-rinse". All is fine.

If you run it till its clear you ARE rinsing it. Doesnt matter if you do it at the sink or in the tank it needs to be rinsed.
