I have a 200 gallon tank running with all the bells and whistles ,went through some cycling stages and took extreme care in water changes and testing every week .one and a half years old my sand still white stocked with 180 lbs of live rock and at one time there was too much coroline and was becoming a chore keeping it off my front glass.NOW its looks like emerald or forest fuzzy green algae has stated on some pieces of my live rock and some on my glass,, its not cyno either .patches here an there ,they say its normal for a healthy tank to have some of this growing but it would be a real pain if it went into over drive and i could not control it .Some people say to buy emerald crab .turbo snails .and to say the least im not digging the rock out to scrub.any suggestions that were proven to work would be appreciated thanks andyb. OR WHATS THE BEST METHOD TO TRY ..
