View Full Version : Value of a booster pump?

I've got a trouble-free RO/DI system on a mature, beautiful tank.

I installed pressure gauges for the first time.

I'm only getting 42 psi coming out of the house and 40 psi going into the membrane. I understand that to make the best water, I should have about 50 psi going into the membrane.

Is there any reason to consider a booster pump if everything looks healthy?

No problems making making enough water for top off and bi-monthly 20% changes.

Sorry we lost contact with our forum for some unknown reason. As long as your getting enough water your fine. At lower pressure systems become sluggish to produce water and the tds can be slightly elevated by only points. If your water is really cold the sluggishness can make production painfully slow but as long as your
happy leave things as they are.
