Need help with plumbing my 90g. Anyone have pics on what theres looks like. Need Ideas also for a sump with a fuge.

not necessarily if we would have hard plumbed it we would have had a much harder time getting the scwd off when it failed.

How and what does the skimmer hook up to

I know you use a pump. How about plumbing it

My sugestions on Plumping is to put a union where ever you can. if you want to use a SCWD just put a union on the inlet and the outlets they you can remove it if needed. keep it simple. dont put 2 joints directly aginst each other so if you make a mistake you can still cut between the joints and reuse them if needed expecaly if you use valves. used a good sized soft section of hose between the tank and hard plumping for the return. here is a picture of my custom drilled tank. it is drilled for 2 1" drains and 2 3/4" returns.

Dude, I would hose clamp those if I were you. I just recently clamped mine. I have never had a problem but if i did.... YIKES!!!
